Chuckster (a.k.a. the Chucksterofto) is a knowledgeable tattoo artist, a leader in the tattoo community, with over 25 years experience in the industry.

Chuckster received his name from The Wizard, Michael Belanger. He is a tattoo artist that can do it all, while simultaneously giving you a rich and entertaining experience. Originally, Chuck planned on being an oil painter like his Aunt. He pursued an extensive art education including a diploma from Sheridan College, a degree from Trinity University, two semesters at So gang University in Seoul, and various public and private art teachers.

Chuck has worked in and owned numerous shops around the world, from Cambridge and Kingston in Ontario, to Japan, Korea, Cuba, USA, and South America. From walking into his first tattoo shop and landing a job at the front desk, to set ups, tear downs, needle making, machine tuner, builder, supplier, ink maker, tapping, teacher – there isn’t much that Chuck hasn’t seen or done. He has been featured in magazines, competition awards, and was asked to judge a Korea Tattoo Competition in Seoul in 2010.

Now Chuck finds more favor in leading a quiet life working at The Dawn of Evel and teaching aspiring tattoo artists. To this day, he still takes walk-ins as well as appointments and can always free up time for a client in his busy schedule.
