Greetings to all and information on tattoo shops, stores, artist and people in the tattoo and piercing community of Grande Prairie. I will not endorse the Chucksterofto; I am at present not tattooing in the city of GP and really feel that tattooing should be prepared in a professional store by proficient people making their capital with their obsession. I am only bringing the attention that they deserve. Lastly, any tattooist or piercing person can get a free listing here, because of my placement in Google and other search engines, it is worth it.
Lastly, I love doing spreads on artist through video and graphics and in time would love to do interviews . This applies to clients too!

This is written to remind you that receiving a new tattoo involves breaking the skin surface and a potential risk for Infection that may occur afterwards. Treat your tattoo as a wound initially and let’s minimize the chance for infections.
Infection Risk Guidance Tips:

-
Avoid unnecessary touching, scratching or picking of the new tattoo.
-
Always wash and dry your hands before and after handling a new tattoo.
-
A non-adherent dressing is applied to the tattoo by the practitioner. This bandage is only applied to get you and your tattoo home safely. Clothing can catch or aggravate your new tattoo, bleeding/fluid ooze will destroy and containment clothing. Keep the bandage on until the bleeding/fluid ooze has stopped. Then start your after-care.
-
After-care instructions are different. Only use the instructions that were given to you by your tattooist. These are his instructions and beliefs. You believe in your tattooist to give you great work, now it is time to believe in the wisdom of his aftercare instructions.
-
You will always find a lot of information on after care on the internet. Be forewarn; the internet is a great place to search, but the information you may received may be wrong!
-
Try to wear loose, cotton clothing to minimize rubbing and irritation to a new tattoo; Remember elastic (example bra straps) are very tight and do rub off new shoulder tattoos.
-
Always keep a new tattoo covered and protected with new light clothing if working in a dirty/dusty/oily environment. Check your new tattoo every few hours and clean as needed
SYMPTOMS OF BAD REACTIONS / BAD HEALING CAUSED BY AFTERCARE ….
Aftercare reaction is one of the leading causes of a badly healed tattoo.. Some things to look for are extreme seeping/heavy scabbing, excessive inflammation, and most of all a rash (little bumps) or excessive pimples. If you think that you are having a reaction to your aftercare it is VERY IMPORTANT that you consult your artist asap, you can save your tattoo if you deal with the situation right away…
SIGNES OF A GOOD/NORMAL HEALING TATTOO …… the tattoo will go through a period where they peel, the skin that peels will be the color of the tattoo, and it will literally look like your tattoo is flaking off the more even the tattoo peels the better the tattoo will look when it is completely healed, underneath the peeled skin you will have healing skin cells that will cause the skin to seem milky rather than transparent, don’t worry about this, you tattoo will be bright in no time, it’s all part of the healing process.
